Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965. He is one of the famous Indian film actors, Aamir's father’s name is Tahir Hussain and Mother Zeenat Hussain, and his brothers are Farhat Khan, Faisal Khan, and Nikhat Khan. Aamir has two children from ex-wife Reena and their names are Junaid, and Ira.In 2013 he received Honorary Doctorate by Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) for his contribution to the Indian cinema and entertainment industry.
Aamir is well known actor, director and producer. He is one of the most popular and powerful actors of Indian cinema. He is one of the highly paid actors in Bollywood. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including four National Film Awards and seven Film fare Awards. He was awarded many national and state awards and Government of India honored him by Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010.

The actor’s first Bollywood movie as a hero was ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and his song from the movie called ‘Papa Kehte Hein’ made him a superstar. In 2001 the actor came in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s movie ‘Lagaan’ which went to be a major commercial hit. The movie even received a nomination for Best Foreign Language at the 74th Academy Awards. The Same year the actor was seen in the movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ which again went on to be a super hit movie.
After that Khan took four years break from the movies after his divorce with wife Reena Dutta. And made a comeback with the period movie ‘Mangal Pandey – The Rising’ and was seen in ‘Rang De Basanti’.
By now the movies that Aamir was picking up were unique and were largely loved. His movie like ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Ghajini’,’3 Idiots’ ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘Dangal’ are examples of the same.
