Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures have joined their hands in the production of the movie. Slated to release on 9 October 2020, the movie has booked the trio Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles, after they appeared in the hit movie Andhadhun, together. Written and directed by Sriram Raghavan, Shoot the Piano Player is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures in association with Matchbox Pictures. Tabu plays the lady lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Radhika Apte and Gopal K Singh will appear in prominent roles. Amit Trivedi composes the music while K.U. Mohanan handles cinematography.
