Drinking Water and Sanitation Minister Narendra Singh Tomar released this advertisement. However, the minister told that this advertisement is not made by the government, but it is made by common people. But later it was revealed that no common people but specified organisation have made this advertisement and the government has provided them with basic amenities. Amitabh message conveying ad is made by UNICEF.

Tomar told that from 25 September, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya's to the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, in this week, Several districts of the country will be announced as free from defecation in open. this announcement was not made by Government or its agency but the teams of representatives of Independent Agency of Quality Council of India will survey those villages and then certificates will be given.

On 30 September Narendra Modi will honour 11 different fields, who work for sanitation like Institutions, organizations or individuals. DM of all districts of the country, the head of panchayats and people associated with these campaigns will discuss this in Delhi.
Apart from this 20,000 people related to sanitation will go to countries different villages will aware about the sanitation. Means they will ask to stop to Poop in open. Government accept that speed of this mission gets slow with the time, so this should be done every year. So by 2019, India will be seen as free from Open defecation.
