Plot - The story of the 'Simran' movie is a girl by the same name who is a Gujarati NRI and a housekeeper who lives in the USA, but some circumstances gets her dragged into the world of crime and then she becomes addicted to it. While doing the crime the actress take the name of Praful Patel.
The story of the movie is inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US, Sandeep Kaur Who was imprisoned for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts.
