5 Bollywood Movies That Faced Copyright Controversy Before Its Release

Bollywood churns out a big number of movies every year. While some out of them like ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Dangal’ create history, some leave no mark at the Box Office and go unnoticed. And then there are those films which face controversy for the copyright issues. Here are some of the movies which faced the copyright controversy in recent past.
  1. RAABTA
The latest inductee in the list is Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Raabta’. When the trailer was released two months ago everyone thought that it is the official remake of 2009 South Indian movie ‘Magadheera’. But the makers of ‘Raabta’ completely denied it. The director of ‘Magadheera’, SS Rajamouli took a legal action against the ‘Raabta’ to ban the movie. However today just a day before its release ‘Raabta’ won the case and is now ready for its release.
  1. MOHENJO DARO
