Taking Indian music to the level of Oscars, singer A R Rahman will receive Hridaynath Mangeshkar Award on 26 October. On the occasion of fourth anniversary of Hridaynath, who is the brother of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha bhosle, A R Rahman has been nominated to get this award this year. According to the news released in this regard it is said that, the ceremony will be held in Dinanath Ambedkar hall, Mumbai. The first Hridaynath Mangeshkar award was given to Lata Mangeshkar. Also, Asha Bhosle, Amitabh Bachchan  and actress Sulochana Tai have also been received this award.
