The last we know was that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who dazzled everyone with her sensuous performance last year in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was in the process of reading scripts for her next project.
But now as per the news in leading daily, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be soon seen in Mani Ratnam's upcoming project, which will be a romantic drama and will be made in Hindi and Tamil.
If the news is true then this will be actresses’ fourth movie with the ace filmmaker after doing movies like ‘Iruvar’, ‘Guru’ and ‘Raavan’. Though both haven’t confirmed the news when the reporters approached them personally.
Recently, the actress made an appearance at the Red carpet of Cannes Film Festival. In an interview with a leading daily, she spilled the beans about her upcoming projects and the reason for taking a break. "I took a break for the five months because of some personal reasons, which I am glad I did. It was much required for me personally, I spent that precious time with my mother and my daughter. Recently I have been reading scripts and I like two of them. So, you all will be giving the details of the projects at the right time.”
The actress made a strong comeback with her movie ‘Jazbaa’ where she played a role of a lawyer who fights a case to save her daughter. The movie also had actor Irrfan Khan.
