'Aksar 2' Box Office Collection Day Wise Budget Hit or Flop

Yesterday, we had two releases Vidya Balan starrer ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and Anant Mahadevan directorial ‘Aksar 2’; now, as we know, this is the sequel of 2006 suspense thriller movie ‘Aksar’, which starred Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Deno Morea in the lead role; well, this film starred Zareen Khan and Gautam Rode in the lead role and it good very underwhelming response from the critics, it didn’t impress the audience either. There was already a bigger film in ‘Tumhari Sulu’ this week and that made the chances of this film even worse and the bad reviews from the critics didn’t help the movie at all. The movie was released in approx. 800 screens, which is quite good for a movie like this, nothing big was expected from it and the first day Box Office Collection is 1.44 crore, which is more than enough for ‘Aksar 2’, the kind of reviews this film got, it was not even expected to earn this much money. However, we are not coming in with the verdict, we are not saying that this is a hit or flop, anything can happen on the weekend, and it has two days in hand to shine and the collections might grow on Saturday by 1-1.5 crores and on Sunday 1.5-2 crores, which is good. The movie is made in the budget of 18 crores, which is conquerable, 18 crores is not a very big amount but for that, this film has to have at least a decent run at the Box Office and as the things are looking right now, it’s unlikely to happen. Next week there’s no big film in the line for the release, let’s see whether it helps ‘Aksar 2’ or not. The next big film in Bollywood to release is ‘Padmavati’, which will hit the screens on 1st December.
