As we know, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie is ‘Padman’, which will release on 26th January 2018. The movie is directed by R. Balki and it also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in prominent roles. The movie is almost complete; Akshay and Sonam will head to New York for its final schedule. Now, there were rumours that the movie will release with Akshay’s another film ‘2.0’, but he denied all that saying he will postpone the date if ‘2.0’ releases on that day.
Radhika Apte will be seen as Akshay’s wife in the movie while Sonam will portray the role of tabla player. The movie talks about mensuration, which is the major problem in rural India just like toilet, which Akshay made a movie on, which was titled ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, it became one of the most successful films of the year collection over 130 crores in India.
Now, Akshay is doing a lot of movies like this, which is good, earlier this year he was seen in ‘Jolly LLB 2’ where he was seen an advocate who fights through the law for justice. Talking about ‘Padman’, Akshay in the latest interview said that if you change nothing, nothing will change, which is the dialogue from his last movie ‘Toilet” Ek Prem Katha’.
The producer of the movie and Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna said that she wanted to make a small budget film but Akshay and R. Balki both were excited about this concept and that’s how it began. She also said that this will something which Indian audience will see for the first time.
Akshay will also be seen in ‘Gold’ next year, which will release on Independence Day.
