Akshay's academy Nippon Academy of renewable Bodo Sogo International India is organizing a championship with the slogan 'Learn Kudo, Kudo Live, Love Kudo'. This tournament is for the students from age group 5 to 21 who wants to take part in martial arts, in which Akshay will take care of all the living, eating and participation costs.
He will also give prizes worth 20 lakhs in different categories. The selected student will participate in the International tournament in Australia. Although Akshay is busy in the release work of his film in October, he is still monitoring this work along.
Mehul Vohra who is the academy chief instructor, tournament director and President of Kudo International Federation says that this tournament is being organized in Mumbai for the past 6 years. This is the only tournament where there is no financial requirement to participate. The total cost of the tournament is 2 crore while the other prize amount and trophy is included in 20 lakh.
All this is taken up by Akshay. Not only this, even International grand masters are coming for the tournament. This the worldwide tournament. When asked Why Akshay do want to sent this to Guinness book of world's record. Then Mehul said that Akshay did not want any sort of publicity.
Talking about the selection process he said, they get around 15 thousand registrations out of which they select 5000 students. The start was like an international event where 11 countries have participated. Now they are taking it to national level in which competition of Judo, Karate and Kick boxing takes place.
