Umesh Shukla’s directorial ‘102 Not Out’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead role is looking promising. As we know, the movie will be based on Saumya Joshi’s Gujarati Play. Amitabh will play the role of a 102-year-old man, while Rishi Kapoor will be seen as his 75-year-old son. Now, on paper this movie looks amazing, it has two of the greatest actors of our industry with an interesting storyline.
A source close to the movie said that Rishi Kapoor and the director Umesh Shukla recently visited Salim-Sulaiman’s studio, who are the music composers of the movie. They heard two songs which have already been recorded for the film and absolutely loved it, they also came up with an idea of Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan jamming together, which sounds great.
Amitabh Bachchan has sung many songs in the past, from ‘Holi Khele Raghuveera’ to ‘Pidly Si Baaten’ and he has been an impressive singer. But this is new for Rishi Kapoor, he has never done something like this before. Amitabh with Rishi on screen is enough to make a movie work but now they will also sing together for this movie, which will definitely help ‘102 Not Out’.
Amit Ji has some interesting projects in his hand right now; he will be seen with Aamir Khan in YRF’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, which is said to be the most anticipated movies of the year.
Now, the release date of ‘102 Not Out’ is not known, it might release at the end of this year or in the starting of next year but as the things are looking right now, it’s hard for this movie to release this year, as two of the biggest movies of the years ‘Padmavati’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is set to release in December and it’s impossible to even survive in front of these two movies.
