Recently, we saw Ayushmann Khurrana in three back two back movies in ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Savadhan’ and impressed in all three. Now, his wife Tahira Kashyap is set to make an impact. She directed a short film titled ‘Toffee’, which is being screened at the Mumbai Film Festival today. The movie is produced by Ayushmann Khurrana and cast by Mukesh Chhabra. Today in an interview Tahira said that she is excited for her movie to get screened but also nervous and she was looking to direct this short film for a long time now. “I wanted to make this film for quite some time, now I am really looking forward to taking my job further”, she said. She also revealed that she has written a full-fledged script and is planning for a movie. When she was asked whether she want to work with her husband Ayushman Khurrana or not, she replied by saying that obviously she wants to work with him and he is her mentor. “I narrate everything to him which I write, he read some of my scripts and loved it, let’s see where my journey leads too”, she said. https://twitter.com/ayushmannk/status/918477033365229569 The official poster of ‘Toffee’ looks interesting and it will surely be a worth watching film, considering the fact that the actors are cast by Mukesh Chhabra, it’s for sure that the performances in this film will be amazing. It would be interesting to see Ayushmann in her movie, he will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller ‘Shoot The Piano Player’, also starring Tabu and Radhika Apte.
