The next project that Varun Dhawan is taking post ‘Judwaa 2’ is Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’. The movie is able to get the right kind of buzz as Varun will be seen in a very unconventional role in a talented director who has given us movies like ‘Piku’ and ‘Pink.
Since the movie has been announced people were excited to know that who will be playing the female lead in the movie opposite Varun Dhawan. To announce the same the actor shared a blurry photo of his October girl on his twitter.

On casting of Banita, when Shoojit was asked he said that he had Banita in mind for a long time as she could fit the character right. We did many workshops with her and slowly the entire crew zeroed on her.
On why he chose to work with a newcomer when he could have worked with an established actress instead, Shoojit said that he has no issue in working with established or non-established actors. The one who fits the demands of the script is all that matters.
