The story of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ revolves around three people-- Chirag, Pritam and Bitti played by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar and Kriti Sanon. The plot of the movie is interesting and is inspired by a famous French Novel ‘The Ingredients of Love’ authored by Nicolas Barreau.
The movie made on a low-budget and released on 1000 screens across the country, went on to earn, Rs. 2.42 Crore on its opening day at box office. The movie registered a low occupancy rate in the morning shows which was around 10-15%, but the evening witnessed reasonable footfall.
