They give an intense glimpse into what can be expected in Vidya’s upcoming film Begum Jaan, in its first trailer that released today. And going by the looks of it, the film only promises some award-winning performances. Vidya Balan is back! The actress, who is known to deliver powerful performances, is all set to impress one and all with her performance in Begum Jaan. The multi-starer film, has a bevy of stars, from Naseeruddin Shah to Rajit Kapur to Ashish Vidyarthi, to Gauahar Khan to Ila Arun- the period drama, set in the time of partition narrates the story of a brothel that comes in between the Indian- Pakistan border. Vidya plays the madam of the brothel and along with her girls, she fights the system but refuses to vacate the house.
