The first look of Sonakshi Sinha in the upcoming war action movie 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' has finally been revealed. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the upcoming film starring Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha revolves around the heroic acts of Indian Air Force Leader, Vijay Karnik and how he modified the airbase along with the help of local women. Sonakshi Sinha's character can be seen donning a Gujarati traditional attire, jewellery and several tattoos. The first look of Sonakshi Sinha makes her appear as a fearless and bold woman ready to face the challenges. Sonakshi's character walks fearlessly and confidently in a terrifying and a tensed atmosphere which looks nothing less than a battle field full of fire break-outs, army men running around and chaos.
It has been reported that Sonakshi Sinha in the upcoming film portrays the role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a brave and heroic social worker who along with 299 other women helped and supported the Indian Army in their attempts. Sonakshi Sinha in her official social-media account also introduced her heroic character as she wrote: "Honoured to play the HEROIC role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, the brave social worker who took 299 women along with her to support the Indian Army!" The movie has roped in actors Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk, Sharad Kelkar, Pranitha Subhash, Mahesh Shetty and others. Bhuj: The Pride of India is based on real life incidents and is set during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. The movie is all set to release digitally as makers have skipped a theatrical release following the current COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Bhuj: The Pride of India will stream worldwide on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. Fans have been awaiting the release of the much-awaited war action movie.
