Rajkumar Hirani’s latest film biopic Sanju has done a commendable business on the box office and shattered every previous record of 2018 leaving behind Sanjay Leela Bansali's Padmavat starring Deepika Padukone which titled as the highest box office earner of the year.  Ranbir Kapoor Sanju has even left them behind and emerged as the blockbuster of the year and growing stronger even its third week of release. The film has managed to enter the Rs 300 crores club which is a huge success for the whole team of  Sanju. It is also Ranbir's first movie of 300 crores club. A non-festive release marking such box office landmark is beyond exceptional and only Raj Kumar Hirani film has the potential to reach such top place. Rajkumar Hirani directorial as the film has 30% occupancy rate across 2,000 screens in its third week of release. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Sanju has already crossed the ₹ 500 crore mark in worldwide box office collections. It's getting pretty hard for the new releases to make a standard amount at Box office, under the thunder of Sanju. Dijit Dosanjh Soorma a biopic as well on the life of Legend Sandeep Singh released last week has made 14.35 cores in the first opening week, where Sanju has crossed 120 crores mark in the opening weekend, Thus showcases the power of the film. Sanju day wise collection till date Sanju is a biography based on the life of  Bollywood original wild child, Sanjay Dutt (Baba)  it shows the journey of his life and reflects the transformation from a stardom life milled up with extravagance, underworld and blame game which resulted in humiliations and jail trails end up being the free loyal man he is today.  Ranbir Kapoor plays his role in the film. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor Anushka Sharma and Jim Sarbh.
