The Abbas-Mustan directed movie Machine that highlights Abbas Burmawala’s son Mustafa beginning his Bollywood career it was screened on Friday last week. Despite the movie which boasting of trademark sequences from the director duo, it did not win much admiration from the critics after surviving to draw in just Rs. 0.80 Crore on day one, the collections of Machine have been below ordinary. In fact later collecting Rs. 1.75 Crore on its opening weekend, the movie has managed to draw in just Rs. 1.3 Cr further over the following days. With these numbers, the total box office earning of Machine currently holds at Rs. 3.05 Crore.
'Machine' is Romantic Thriller genre film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by produced by Haresh Patel (AD Films), Pranay Chokshi, Jayantilal Gada (PEN), Abbas Mustan Films Productions and Dhaval Jayantilal Gada. The film is starring Mustafa Burmawalla and Kiara Advani in the leading roles. The film is a story of two race enthusiasts who meet each other in strange circumstances and as their connection becomes stronger they eventually fall in love with each other. However, new things started to happen that turns their lives forever. The film is directed by famous directors’ duo Abbas-Mustan and is starring Abbas Burmawalla’s son Mustafa Burmawalla performing his debut in Bollywood. The first day might be a moderate one and directors’ duo is the largest reason that will attract the viewers to the theaters. Later the film can grab audience if it came out to be good.
The film opened with only 10% occupancy which is less than Hollywood film Beauty and The Beast which began with 15% occupancy at cinemas. Still, the film can collect better amount as it presented on more number of screens. On the first day, the film can collect modest amount but can see growth after the first day. Also, you can say that the drama and acting work is average in the film which hit the whole box office collection of the film. Even this month exams are being the big dilemmas for the makers because youngsters are busy and they are not pulling towards the films a lot. Overall, you can say that machine made an average business from the very first day of release.
This film released on more than 500 Screens around the world and collected very average amount for the makers. 'Machine' is running with 20% occupancy which is quite below than expectations. Also, the makers did collect that many money like expected by the film. Well, the movie collected around 0.90 Crore from the Indian box office after the very first day of release. Also, the second-day box office business is not going to increased because of the bad word of mouth which film getting from the watchers. The makers are expecting considerable earning from the film in upcoming days. You can watch this movie for the new faces and great direction work.
