‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is all set to release this Friday. It is a documentary drama which all Sachin fans are looking forward to. With a God of cricket status of Sachin in our country, we can say that the film will open big but by considering the Baahubali storm which is still at its peak it is hard to predict anything at present.
James Erskine’s biographical documentary on India’s cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who inspired millions and millions is certainly one of a kind. It will be emotional for many of his fans. The theatre will turn into Stadium on Friday and audience will be heard yelling Sachin, Sachin…
The movie is set to release on 2800 screens in India, which is a good number. The movie will be released in different languages targeting Sachin's wide fan following.
After last week’s release of ‘Half Girlfriend’ and ‘Hindi Medium’. Baahubali’s growth pace has mellowed. Taking notes of all these things, it's safe to say that ‘Sachin: The Billion Dreams’ will open with Rs 5-6 crore on Friday. And in the first weekend, it will collect approx Rs 15-20 crore. For the overall collection, we can speculate Rs 40-50 crore.
The things actually can't be predicted as of now but it is certain that movie will succeed as, after all, it is a film on India’s most popular and loved sportsperson.
