This Friday September 15, two big releases are going to enter theatres with three low budget movies, and one Hindi dubbed Old Hollywood movie’s 3 D version.
It can be called a clash of sorts, with Kangana Ranaut's ‘Simran’ and Farhan Akhtar's ‘Lucknow Central. From the trailer both the movie storyline looks quite convincing.
Kangana's ‘Simran’ was promoted by the makers effectively yet the actress grabbed a lot of attention lately due to the leading actress' controversies. Her interview at Aap Ki Adalat and the hilarious AIB video has created a huge buzz and that is definitely going to work in the favour of the actress and will attract the audience to watch ‘Simran’. Looking at that the movie is predicted to earn around Rs. 8 crore on its opening day.
On the other hand the movie weaved around choosing between freedom and dreams; Farhan’s ‘Lucknow Central’ has been quietly promoted. So without much hype around it but packed with god actors the movie is expected to earn around Rs. 4 Crore on its opening day at the Collection window.
The other releases of the day, ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’, ‘Rabbi’ and ‘Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai’ are small budget movies and will have less screen counts so are expected to open average or below average.
‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ might do a little better than the others as it has Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the movie.
