'Shaandaar' directed by Vikas Bahl starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has somehow managed to engrave his name on sixth highest day earning of 2015 on the box office.
The first day collection of 'Shaandaar' is Rs 13.1 crore at Box Office.This movie has also recorded the highest opening for Shahid and Alia.
'R...Rajkumar' was the highest opener so far with Rs 10.20 crore for Shahid on its first day and for Alia it was '2 States with Rs 12.42 crore.
"Shaandaar' has left behind Ranbir Kapoor's 'Roy', Ranveer Singh's 'Dil Dhadakne do' and Kapil Sharma's 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'.
It has even shattered opening day box office collection of Akshay Kumar's 'Baby' and 'Gabbar is back'.
It was due to Dusshera holiday, 'Shaandaar' opened good at the box office across the country, but at some places the collection was affected as the first day show started late due to Dusshera pooja.
After a good opening start, film is expected to do well on the second day i.e. on Friday.
