Comedy Nights with Kapil's 'Palak' character Kiku Sharda has been arrested in Mumbai and has been said to jail for 14 days. Mr Sharda has been arrested on charges of hurting the religious sentiments of the followers of Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, often called The Guru of Bling because of his bejewelled costumes and flashy appearances on motorcylces. He was arrested from Mumbai by the Haryana Police. Kiku was booked on December 31 under Section 295 A of the Indian Penal Code. Kiku after getting arrested said that we are artist, our work is to make you all laugh, we really have no intentions of hurting anyone sentiment, but if it has happened then I am really very sorry.
