The release of Ram Gopal Verma's 'Killing Veerappan' is in trouble, Veerappan widow has filed petition against releasing of the film which court has been accepted.
This film is going to release in Tamil and Kannada on second week of December, and after that it also planned to release film in Hindi and Telugu. However a city civil court of Bangalore has been banned the release of the film. Mutthulakshmi has alleged that Ram Gopal Verma has broken the which he had signed 8 years ago.
According to contract Ram Gopal Verma has to make movie in Hindi and then it has to dubbed in Tamil, but now the film is releasing in Telugu and Kannada.
Muthhulaksmi said, 'Ram Gopal Verma had also promised a screening of film for me to not misuse the image of Veerappan and his family. Some film makers had made money through making bad image of my husband. I have to watch 'Killing Veerappan' in all the languages.'
Kannada actress Yagan shetty has played the role of Mutthulakhsmi in the film and the film is based on the 'operation Kukoon' in 2004.
It has been also said the producers and Ram Gopal Verma are ready to give compensation to Muttulakshmi for allowing to release the film in all 4 languages.
