Aamir Khan‘s ‘Dangal’ released just a few weeks ago in China and since then the film has only trended upwards in terms of its collections. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial has taken Box Office by storm in China, after crossing 800 crore mark, movie ‘Dangal’ is still going strong.
Well, on the 22nd day, the film faced a tough competition with Hollywood's latest film ‘Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ starring Johnny Depp. Despite the fact, ‘Dangal’ has managed to cross 1.88 million USD (Rs 12.13 crore), which is quite low actually in that market, but it beat ‘Guardians Of Galaxy Vol.2’ which just managed to pull 0.15 million.
With 825 crores, 'Dangal' is now in the top 50 films of highest grosser in China. It is the first Indian film to cross this mark.
Meanwhile, in India 'Baahubali 2' is still whooping. 'Baahubali' storm is still running wild. On the 29th day of its release, the movie crossed 1.613 crores. With such an epic response by the audiences, the movie has set its name in the history of Indian Cinema.
‘Baahubal 2’ is still to release in China. The director SS Rajamouli stated a few days back that, they will release ‘Baahubali 2’ in China in July. Well, it would be interesting to see what the movie scores at the China market because the movies first part was not well received in China.
Some say that the reason behind the 'Dangal's outstanding performance in China is not only because of its story but also because Actor Aamir Khan has a huge fan following in China.
