Zoya when asked about the attack on Khan by some politicians she said, "It is very silly to give the proof of Shahrukh's patriotism. He is a Patriotic citizen. It is stupidity if anyone says such things about Shahrukh Khan and millions of people support him. Shahrukh is a nice man". Zoya said on returning awards by artists of Cinema, art and literature," I think this is the right way of peaceful protest. I'm happy to support them. If I would have won the National Award, then I would have also returned it.. "
