Film Junglee which is supposed to be released next year in later months has taken its first baby step towards it. Vidyut Jammwal starer movie begins it's shooting today in Thailand. the actor has reached there last week only to get himself settled for the hectic schedule of the film shoot.
This is a story of a man and an elephant's love. This is an action thriller movie of its kind where the companionship of a human and an animal has been depicted. Vidyut assumes the part of a creature adoring vet who is set to reveal a lethal poaching racket that took his dad's life and wiped out his dearest elephant's family.
After the sleeper hit Bareilly Ki Barfi, Junglee is Vidyut's upcoming movie for 2018. Under Junglee Pictures banner the movie is directed by Hollywood movie producer Chuck Russell, who has films credited to his name are like The Mask, The Scorpion King, A Nightmare On Elm Street, and I Am Wrath.
The movie will recall your memory of 1971 Superhit film of Hindi Cinema 'Haathi Mere Saathi' acted by legendary actor Rajesh Khanna. This Vidyut Jamwal, the movie, however, has a different plot which will have many action sequences in it. 'Junglee ' already has a release date of October 19, 2018, announced.
Junglee has been set in Orissa and spins around the special bonding developed between a man and an elephant. Vidyut, the 36-year-old actor plays the role of a veterinary doctor who cherishes his love, affection and cares for animals. The Vet though is on a mission to uncover a poaching racket. This poaching racket is all about ivory smuggling.
Vidyut Jammwal has been known to involve into an active training for different kind of actions for the film. The Hollywood director and filmmaker is helping him out with such action sequences. It is expected that the movie will have the Hollywood style actions scenes going by the records of Chuck Russels. Vidyut was most recently seen in the 2017 movies, 'Commando 2' and 'Baadshaho'.
Junglee is co-produced by Priti Shahani under the flag of Junglee Pictures whereas Hollywood Filmmaker Chuck Russel will direct the movie.
