Directed Abhishek Kapoor has directed films like Rock on and Kai Po Che, and he is appreciated the ways he make films. Abhishek Kapoor was inspired by Chetan Bhagat and made Kai Po Che and now he has made Fitoor and to make this is he inspired by Charles Dickens novel,'The Great Expectations'. However, plot of this novel is many time used in English films but for the first time any Hindi Film is made on it. Will is film be able to attract the audience towards it. Let review it :- Plot: This story starts in Kashmir, where Begam Hazrat (Tabu) stays in her big bungalows, Begam faces betrayal, due to which she had no faint in love, her Daughter Firdoos (Katrina Kaif) gets a friend Noor (Aditya Roy Kapur) in her Childhood, Noor stays with his grandmother and brother in law Junaid, Noor is a artist, who starts loving Firdoos from his childhood. But Begam can not digest Noor Meeting Firdoos, so because of his Begam sends Firdoos to London for studies, then Noor gets isolated, then story moves further and this love story meets a result, to know this you have to see the film. Script : Story of the film lies in Kashmir valleys, where dialogues and style of that place is well served.On one hand is Begam, who sticks on her decision and on other hand is love in valleys, on one hand is country independence is concerned and on other hand restriction on love is also shown. But the screening play and story is missing in the film. Everything is seen done forcefully. Ajay Devgan is in the film but he is not used properly, Tabu acting is appreciable but her teenage character is played by Aditi Rao Hydari which is seen shocking. Only valleys of Kashmir is nice and there is nothing else which can attract you. Climax of the film is also very weak. Tabu has done tremendous acting in the film and she will not make it feel that she is acting, she has acted so real. On the other hand, Aditya and Katrina has also done appreciable acting, Aditi Rao and Lara Dutta has also done average acting, Child artist who played the character of Aditya's childhood is amazing. Music : The best thing about the film is Music. Amit Trivedi has sung nice songs. Pashmina, Fitoor goes with the story. Weakness: The weakest part of the film is Topsy-turvy script. The story is seen unsuccessful, it could have been more better. Why to watch : If you are fond of seeing good locations, Acting of Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Aditi rao Hydari and last but not the least are the songs by Amit Trivedi, then definitely see the film.
