Last week witnessed the release of seven movies on a single day. The Box Office which already had shining glories like ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘Hindi Medium’ and ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ on its side had no big hopes from all the movies released on the day.
But still, one movie that managed to grab some attention even after a heavy competition was the children’s animated movie ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’. The movie, made in a decent budget was released on approx. 600 screens across India and went on to collect 27 lakhs on its first day of screening. The details of its earnings till date or weekend collections are still not available.
The movies USP was that it had the Voice of Actor Salman Khan for the main character of the movie, Hanuman. Two years ago in Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ Salman Khan was seen playing the role of Hanuman’s follower, which was much liked by the audience. And now this time as he has lent his voice to the character, many people gathered to witness it at the cinema halls. Let us see if Salmans voice over helps the movie in the long run and how it fares in terms of being a Hit or a Flop.
Apart from Salman the artists like, Javed Jaffery Makrand Deshpande, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak and Kunal Khemu also lent their voices to different characters in the movie.
