Today is Kishore Kumar's Birthday, he was born on 4th August 1929. kishore Kumar has a big family and he was the youngest among his brothers and sisters. Not only he was a great singer, but was also a great actor. He acted in many films.
Kishore Kumar was born in Khandwa in MP. His father name was Kunjalal Gaungly and mother's name was Gauri Devi. Before getting Independence, his elder brother Ashoke Kumar was big star. Kishore decided at very young age that he will go in cinema, his elder brother Ashok Kumar showed him the right track.
Kishore Kumar studies from Christian College. Kishore Kumar started hi filmy career from 1946 film 'Shikaari' as actor. The era was changing that time. Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand were coming down and actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna were coming up. This time, voice of Mohammad Rafi was surrounded everywhere.
Kishore voice used to fir perfectly on Rakesh khanna, Kishore became his voice. Rajesh Khanna used to requested Producers of his films that Kishore will only sing my songs. Kishore Kumar got Best Singer Filmfare awards for song 'Dil aisa kisi ne mera' from Amanush and 'Khaike Pan Banaras wala' from Don.
His personal life has many ups and down. He did 4 marriages. His first wife was Ruma Devi, Kishore then married Madhu Bala. After 9 years Madhu Bala died, then in 1976, he married Yogita Bali, later Yogita finished this relation. Kishore did his 4th wedding with Leena Chandavarkar.
There was a time, when Kishore Kumar songs were ban. This was time 1975-77 (During Emergency). Actually during Emergency, kishore was called at a congress program, but he refused. When Sanjay Gandhi got to know this, then he banned his songs. After 1977, when emergency was removed, again Kishore Kumar made everyone mad.
Problems in his personal life, made him weak. On 18th October, he died. Kishore death news made everyone cry. But his songs are still alive with us.
