Mudassar Aziz's recent released runaway comedy movie Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi is quite a disappointment for the viewers as the movie could not reach up to the level of its first series. The movie seemed like an experiment to see what could the possible out be of the combination of two Happy in one movie.
The movie stars Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty as Happy AKA Harpreet Kaur and some male actors like Jimmy Shergill as Daman Singh Bagga, Ali Fazal as Guddu and the Punjabi singer/actor Jassie Gill as Khushwant Singh Gill who has made his debut in Bollywood through this movie. Mudassar has also chosen Piyush Mishra and Aparshakti Khurrana. The choice for the cast was quite nice and everyone did a good job in their roles. So, the movie is basically about 2 Happy and the chaos because of mistaken identity and confusion.
On its very first day, the movie couldn't do much and had a weak start at the Box Office. Made under a budget of 30 crores the movie could only make 2.70 crores on its 1st day at the Box Office. According to some movie critics, the movie has got 2 stars out of 5. Produced by Anand L.Rai and Krishika Lulla the movie was released on 24th of August in the theatres. The movie trailer although was hilarious and made the audience laugh but that's it, throughout the movie stars are struggling to make the viewers laugh with their small and old styled punchlines.
But let's see what happens at the end of the weekend at the Box Office so stay tuned for updates on Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi about its screening, Box Office Collection and hit or flop verdict.
