On the petition over the demand of National Anthem before starting of a film in theaters, Delhi High court has sent a notice Central and Delhi Government for their answer. During the hearing of the petition, the central government said to the high court that Government is ready to think about this issue.
High Court said that Both Central and Delhi Governement should keep their view that can it be done according to the constitution or not. Next hearing on this case will be done on 14th Deember.
In the petition which is filed in High Court, it is mentioned in it that it happens in states like Goa, Maharashtra and in many other states. By this people will respect their country more. This Public Interest Litigation was filed by actor Harsh Nagar. The The petitioner has informed us about the honor of the national flag and anthem in Article 50 and 51 (a).
He says that during the National Anthem, it is our responsibilty to stand in respect of it. The petitioner claims that he has written letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Delhi and many others. But nobody gave this answer to me. Then he filed a petition in the court, when other states can do it, then why not Delhi.
He said that after film is over, problems come in theatrs that audience doesn't wait, National Anthem should be play in starting. The petitioner says that till school, we remember our National Anthem, but after that we forget.
The petitioner claims that he himself is a martial arts player and when in Foreign, Indian National Anthem in played for the players, then players get goosebumps. By this they are motivated. So, High court should order to play National Anthem in all the Theatres before the movie is started.
