‘Hindi Medium’ the much-awaited film starring talented actor Irrfan Khan and Pakistani Actress Saba Qamar shifts its release date from 12th of May to 19th of May. The storyline based on true events looked quite promising from its trailer release. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Directed by Saket Chaudhary, the film will now hit the theaters on 19th of May 2017. The news was shared today by the makers of the film on Twitter. The update read, “एक ज़रूरी सूचना Hindi Medium ki admission date extend ho gayi hai! Don't forget to catch us in cinema halls on 19th May 2017. (sic)”. On 19th May, Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’ and Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s ‘Jattu Engineer’ are also slated to release. The reason for the shift of ‘Hindi Medium’ release date is unknown, still, the rumors are indicating at the glory of majestic ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. ‘Baahubali 2’ has already shattered all box-office records and the film doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. While nobody dared to release their film on the same date, the magnum opus is giving jitters to the makers of upcoming releases too. Hindi Medium written by Zeenat Lakhani is a light-hearted comedy about the struggle of a Hindi-speaking man Raj, portrayed by Irrfan Khan and his English speaking wife Mita, portrayed by Saba. They both live in Chandani Chowk, Delhi and wish to ensure that their daughter gets the best education by getting her admitted to a fancy school. The film traces their trials and tribulations on this journey, and the impact it has on their relationship and their family.
