The IIFA 2017 began with all the pomp and show in New York City on Thursday 13th July and the pictures that are coming from there have got everyone excited. The city is bustling with Bollywood stars to attend the grand event.
Celebrity’s like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, and Karan Johar among many others graced the green carpet ceremony of the event held last evening where IIFA Rocks witnessed a massive show by singer A. R. Rahman and his crew performing some of his iconic numbers. IIFA celebrated Rahman's 25 years in the industry and the show was hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul.
Alia Bhatt looked dazzling in an ivory-baby pink floral embroidery lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra and actor Varun Dhawan, looked elegant in a blue shirt, black trousers and black blazer with a red tie. Karan Johar made a classy appearance in black trousers, white shirt, black waistcoat, red jacket and a black bow, whereas Sushant Singh Rajput was seen in black pants, white shirt and a black velvet blazer with his Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon who wore Mark Bumgarner midi dress with off the shoulder neckline. Taapsee Pannu too made an appearance at the event in an off-shoulder red dress with a mermaid. Actor Saif Ali Khan looked dashing in his formal attire and was seen donning a moustache.
Also present at the event were stars like Huma Qureshi, Sonu Sood, Kalki Koechlin, Neha Dhupia, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi among others.
