After ‘Hindi Medium’ it is time for Irrfan Khan to go ‘English Medium’. Yes, the actor is all set to add another feather in his hat with his upcoming Hollywood project ‘Puzzle’. The 50-year-old actor will be starring in Marc Turtletaub’s Puzzle, alongside Kelly Macdonald and David Denman.
The script of the movie has been written by Oren Moverman and Annie Baker, which is an adaptation of the 2010 Argentine film ‘Rompecabezas’. Natalia Smirnoff was the director of the original movie and it was nominated for the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The story focuses on a forty years old suburban mother whose world is spent caring for the men in her family. One day she discovers that she has a gift for assembling puzzles, her world begins to change from that day and the entire family is forced to adjust.
“I feel privileged to have the chance to work on the exceptional screenplay and with the talented cast. It is rare to find such an amazing story of a movie that has a woman finds her true calling in mid-life,” shared Turtletaub.
The director also appreciated the writers of the movie, who have crafted a wonderful tale that discovers the surprising emotional life of real adult characters.
