'Ittefaq’ Box Office Collection - Yesterday, Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘Ittefaq’ released, the producers came up with a very interesting idea of promoting this film, the movie was not promoted in any TV shows but was only promoted in the social media, which is quite frankly, the best way to go for a movie like this. The suspense-thriller is the sequel of 1969 Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Ittefaq’ and is directed by first time director Abhay Chopra.
Well, did the movie work out on the first day, did the idea of not promoting the movie worked for it and the answer is yes, the movie actually did a decent job on the first day, it’s Box Office Collection was approx. 3.5 crores, which is not bad and considering the fact that Hollywood’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ also released on the same day, ‘Ittefaq’, actually managed to attract the audience on the first day.
Now, in today’s world, 4.05 crores is not a big amount for a film opening but ‘Ittefaq’ released in very limited screens, with no promotions at all and still manages to collect 4.05 cores, which is quite good. The movie is expected to grow slowly, on Saturday, the movie will earn around Approx 6-7 crores and on Sunday we predict that it will earn around 5-6 crores. Till date, the collection of this movie is good and expected to be good moving forward.
Talking about its budget, the movie made in 28 crores and as the things are going on right now, it will collect its budget on the fifth or sixth day. To say, whether this will be a hit or flop, this is definitely going to be a hit, it already impressed the critics and became a critical hit and there’s no doubt that it will be a commercial hit as well. We are not coming with a verdict now, anything can happen, but things are looking good for this film.
It is expected to run for two to three weeks at the Box Office as no big film is releasing before Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.
