After giving a hot hit in ‘Judwaa 2’ and signing with Salman Khan in ‘Race 3’, Jacqueline Fernandez to be seen in another film. She will be playing the lead role in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Hindi adaptation of Paula Hawkins psychological thriller novel ‘The Girl On The Train’. It has been adapted in Hollywood by Tate Taylor starring Emily Blunt in the lead role, which was a Box Office success.
Talking about the movie Ribhu said that he has almost completed the script of the movie. “Jacqueline has come on board as the protagonist, I wanted to work with her for quite some time and now this is the perfect movie to collaborate with her”, he said. Ribhu previously directed ‘Te3n’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.
He has quite a resume in making thrillers and now he is coming with the adaptation of one of the best-selling psychological thrillers novel, which sounds interesting. Bollywood has done a lot of things over the years but psychological thrillers are one of the genres which are not explored very much.
As we know, ‘The Girl On The Train’ has many characters and we don’t know who else will be in the film but Ribhu revealed that this movie will focus on Jacqueline’s character.
Jacqueline has two big-budget movies in her hand right now, first is the action film ‘Drive’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the male lead and second ‘Race 3’ with Salman Khan and Bobby Deol in the lead role.
