For making excitement down, Karan has revealed the plot of the film. Karan Revealed that 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil' story revolves around one Hindu Boy and one Muslim Girl. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are playing lead role in the film. Ranbir as Aayan and Anushka as Alizeh will be seen in the film. When in a film, if a boy is Hindu and Girl is Muslim, then it feels like both the religion will stand against eachother. There will be fights and in the end love will win, but in Ae Dil Hain Mushkil, these things will not happen. Karan said, his film is not about the struggle of lovers of different religion.
