After all Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif's 'Phantom' has banned in Pakistan. Petition filed by Mumbai terror attack mastermind and Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed while hearing Pakistani court on Thursday stayed the release of the film. The film is scheduled for release on August 28.
Hafiz petition filed in the High Court on eight August banning the film had sought and had alleged that the content of the film is to defame Pakistan. Hafiz through lawyer AK Dogar argued that in the Indian film 'Phantom' is full venom for Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Pakistan. According to him, him and his group Jamaat-ud-Dawa, points out the Mumbai attacks and has been shown to global terrorism. Hafiz had talked about the threat to life.
Well, even before many Indian films have been banned in Pakistan. These Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod and Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger included. Despite the ban, such films are available in the DVD and CD. Interestingly, this is a film 'Phantom' verdict on the ban, the judge asked the Pakistan Government to ensure that if a film also looks at the ban, he should not look at the market.
