Madhur Bhandarkar who has shown black trust if glamor world through films like 'Chandni Bar' to 'Calendar Girl', now he will show Indian's emergency situation, but it will also have a romantic angle. Madhur Bhandarkar has kept name of the film as 'Indo Sarkar', which is a story of Emergency imposed during era's of 70, but in this Sarkar of Madhur, not strictness of Indira Gandhi, but new story of Love is hidden. Madhur has selected Kriti Kulhari to play lead role in the film. Kriti Kulhari was last seen in film 'Pink' and she was appreciated for her work in the film. After seeing her work in Pink, Mudhar offered her this film. 'Indu Sarkar' is a story of such an orphan girl, who stutters, but she loved poems. Madhur Bhandarkar with the writer of this film Anil Pandey, he has done too much research in Delhi Library and Museum. The shooting of 'Indu Sarkar' will start in Delhi and Pune in December and film will be released next year. Talking about Madhur then he has won National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues for film 'Chandani Bar'. Bhandarkar received the National Film Awards for the Best Feature Film and Best Director for Page 3 and Traffic Signal. Madhur is also given  Padma Shri, it the fourth highest civilian award by the government of India. Bhandarkar made his directorial debut with 'Trishakti', this film came in 1999 and was a big commercial success.
