The trailer has shown Dhoni's struggling life from school to the Indian cricket dressing room. The trailer was firstly launched in Jhalandhar, Punjab. Then the team launched the trailer in Delhi and Mumbai. Dhoni himself with the team of MS Dhoni : The untold story released its trailer in three cities. After that they both real MS Dhoni and reel MS Dhoni (Sushant Singh Rajput) shared the trailer on social media. Sushant Singh Rajput has played leading role of MS Dhoni in the film and Sushant has done lots of hard work for the film which is being shown in trailer. Sushant has copied the all cricketing shots of Dhoni perfectly there are many scenes when it was looking like that it is not Sushant but Dhoni himself is playing. Cricketing shots to hair style of Dhoni everything has totally copied by Sushant in the film. Dhoni's fans and Sushant Singh Rajput fans are eagerly waiting for the film.
