Actor Atul Kulkarni is mostly seen playing the supporting roles in the movies, nevertheless, important roles. The actor has many acclaimed performances to his credit in Bollywood as well as Marathi Movies. And now the actor is all set to give another impressive performance in ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’. Actress Kangana Ranaut will be playing the titular role in the movie, whereas Aankita Lokhaande will play Jhalkari Bai, the one who used to disguise and shield Rani Laxmi Bai. And Atul Kulkarni will be seen in the movie as Ramchandra Pandurang Tope, popularly known as Tatya Tope. When Atul was asked about his role in the movie he said, “This is the first time I am doing a role like this, I enjoy doing all my sword fighting stunts. My body-double just sits around on the sets." Recently during one of the fight sequences on the sets, Kangana got a major injury on her forehead. She was shooting for the movie in Hyderabad's Ramoji Filmcity, with her co-star Nihar Pandya. The Movie ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’ is directed by Krish, and is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
