Movie Singh Is Bling Review - Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson

Movie Review : Before this film Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Deva's movie Rowdy Rathore was a hit at the box office. Now after three years they both are again together for a film. This time Prabhu Deva has presented Akshay in an all new look, in which he was a hit on the first time. After Namaste London and Singh Is King he is again seen in the role of a Sardar. Prabhu Deva has presented the story in a grand way. Although there is nothing new in the movie, but it is good on part of entertainment. Story: Raftaar Singh who lives in a small town in Punjab, is a pampered child of his mother. But his father considers him as spoiled and a person of no use, who can do nothing. Raftaar is happy in his own life and always keep himself away from the responsibilities. Due to this behavior of Raftaar his father sends him to his friend in Goa for work. Raftaar then there meets Sara (Amy Jackson). Raftaar then starts falling for her. But the problem starts, when he gets to know that Sara knows only English and Raftaar does not know English. In that case he the keeps a translator Emily (Lara Dutta), who can tell Sara what he feels about her. On the other side Emily in order to save her job translates all the things wrongly ans confuse both of them. Then one day Raftaar gets to know that Sara for a special purpose has came to Goa. In the meanwhile a Romanian underworld don Mark (K K Menon) reaches Goa to find her. Acting: Talking about the acting of Akshay, he has done great acting in comparison to other movies. He has depicted the character of Raftaar in an amazing manner. Some scenes while make you laugh loud, while some brings you in tears. Some people felt over acting in the role of Akshay, but if seen strongly then Raftaar has done when than most of the characters before. Lara Dutta in the role of Emily has seen after a long time, and have the capability to make you laugh at some point of time. The character is strong enough to bring smile on your face. Amy Jackson has done the stunt scenes greatly. Some action scenes of Amy are even more stronger than Akshay.  In the role of Mark, K K Menon although has got less footage but he has done well. Direction: Prabhu Deva always makes a movies of different styles and his movies are always liked by the movie lovers. The film before interval makes you laugh a lot, but after interval the movie becomes weak after getting to Goa, Punjab and Romania. The visit of Raftaar Singh from Punjab to Goa and then Romania is out of control. In this regard Prabhu Deva has given such movies before that and in a new style. The script of the movie moves around Punjab, Goa and Romania but still the laughter scenes have made it strong. The start of the film reminds of Singh Is King. Prabhu Deva needs to be appreciated that he has presented in the script in a beautiful way. Song: The starting song of the film, Tung Tung is a fun song and it have been given a Punjabi flavor. In the movies of Prabhu Deva, the songs are always presented in a great and different way. Title track Singh Is Kaur, Maahi Aaja feels good to the eyes. You can take the feel of the songs in cinema halls but after coming out you hardly remember any song. Prabhu Deva has choreographed the songs, in this case the touch of South is seen at times. Why to watch: If you are a fan of Akshay Kumar and wants to get rid of all the tensions, then movie does it all to make you laugh. Although for the ones, who wants to see different on the screens every time, this movie can be opposite.
