It has been a great year so far Rajkummar Rao in terms of the projects he has featured in. First, we saw the actor in the movie ‘Trapped’, later in ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ and ‘Raabta', and now he has two more interesting movies up for releases, one is ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and the other is Amit V Masurkar's black comedy ‘Newton’.
The movie 'Newton' was earlier set to release, starring Rajkummar Rao, in the lead role, has a new release date. The film, which was initially scheduled to release on 18 August, will now be coming on screens on 22nd of September.
The story of the movie revolves around a government clerk, who is posted for the election duty at Naxal controlled Chhatisgarh. Rao will be seen in the role of a man who resolves to conduct a free and fair election in the political turmoil-hit area.

The teaser of the movie opens with Sanjay Mishra explaining the electoral assets that India claims. The teaser then shows us Rajkummar Rao, a clerk, who decides to improve the failing condition of Indian elections. It is his reference to Newton's Third Law, ‘action equals reaction’, and that is the reason behind the movie’s title.
At the work front, the actor will also be seen in thriller ‘Ittefaq’ later this year along with a web series ‘Bose: Dead or Alive’ that will stream on ALT Balaji.
