Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ controversy is getting bigger and badder, the movie was earlier supposed to release on 1st December but then due to the controversy, the makers had to push the release date, the Rajput Karni Sena is demanding the ban of the movie as they think that there is a dream scene of Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the movie. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali completely denied that.
Bhansali said that they have made this film with full responsibility and kept the honour to the Rajputs; well, after the matter got politicalized, it got worse for the movie. Now, we hear that the movie might release on 26th January 2018. Now, when he heard that the movie will not release on 1st December, it was clear that it will release next year, but the date was not known, and still, it is not known it’s just a rumour.
Well, 26th Jan sounds good to release this film but Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ is already scheduled to release on 26th January. The Viacom 18 earlier announced that due to the controversy, they have changed the release date of ‘Padmavati’ and it will release in January 2018; well, quite frankly, there’s no other date to release this film, it might release on the first week of the month, but again 26th is the most sensible date.
As we know, the movie stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, apart from them, we will also see actors like Jim Sarbh and Aditi Rao Hydari.
