Plot - Partition: 1947 focuses on the events in the final pre-Independence days when Lord Mountbatten was in office. It will show, what Lord Mountbatten, Jawaharlal Nehru, Gandhi and Muhammad Ali Jinnah did at the time of Independence and what was the reason for the birth of two nations India and Pakistan. There’s also a love story in the movie where the two character separates after the partition. Everything is done behind Lord Mountbatten, he doesn’t know a damn thing what Gandhi, Nehru and others are upto. Mountbatten has to oversee the transition of British India to independence but meets with conflict as the sides clash in front of him.
