Filmmaker Kabir Khan has said that superstar like Shahrukh Khan was very important for the cameo role in Salman Khan starring movie Tubelight. The film is going to be a witness of two superstar's collaboration after 15 years. Last time they both were seen together in the film Hum Tumahre Hai Sanam in full fledged roles. The film was released in 2002. Last night Kabir Khan attended the success bash of Dangal. In the media interaction, Kabir Khan said It is interesting and exciting, the cameo was a brief character and for that, we needed a superstar. I went to Shahrukh and told him that we have a cameo role for him. He said yes very gracefully. Kabir Khan further added now it is a magician or another let it be on the speculations. I can't say anything about it. Salman Khan's act in Tubelight is five times better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan When he was asked the speculations are that Hrithik Roshan will play the leading role in his next venture. On this, Kabir Khan said nothing is finalized yet for that project. This is to notice that it is going to be the third collaboration of Salman Khan and Kabir Khan after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Both the films were the super hit at the box office. Kabir Khan's next film is with Hrithik Roshan Tubelight is also supposed to be the last flick of late and veteran actor Om Puri. The film is going to release on Eid 2017. Till now the only first look of the film has come in which a soldier is being seen.
