Last Friday 7th of July, witnessed two big releases, the movie ‘MOM’ and ‘Guest iin London’. After a crashing failure of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ the movie lovers eyes were set for last week’s releases. Where the movie ‘MOM’ was backed by good stars and intriguing trailers, the movie ‘Guest iin London’ was expected to open big as the movie’s first installment was a good scorer at the Box Office.
MOM Box Office CollectionThe Weekend went on to be quite lucrative for the movie ‘MOM’ whereas for ‘Guest iin London’ the trend was almost the same on all the three days.
The movie ‘MOM’ opened on Friday with only 25% of occupancy and by the end of the day earned only Rs. 2.9 Crore But on Saturday the movie picked up the pace and registered 75.17% of growth, with a collection of Rs. 5.08 Crore and on Sunday again it trended on the theatres collecting Rs. 6.42 Crore. Till now, the movie’s Domestic earning total Rs. 14.40 Crore.
Guest Iin London Box Office Collection
‘Guest Iin London’ on the other hand box office collections remained low on the two holidays also. The movie earned Rs 1.50 Crore on Friday, Rs 2.75 Crore on Saturday and Rs 3.10 Crore on Sunday.
The growth trend seen by ‘MOM’ was witnessed by Sridevi’s past year’s releases ‘English Vinglish’ and ‘Judaai’.
