Oscar winner A.R Rahman will perform at United Nation on India 70th Independence Day and will aslo give tribute to Famous singer S.S M. S. Subbulakshmi.
Indian Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin told about the program at UN via tweet, 'Jai Ho will echo at UN. AR Rahman to perform at UN in homage to MS Subbulakshmi on India's 70th Independence Day.'
With the tweet, there is a poster also, in which Rahman and Subbulakshmi photo is photoshopped on the photo of UN Headquarter. On 15th August, Rahman will perform at famous hall, where politicians represent world and International audience get lost in the performance of great Performer.
Rcently, A.R Rahman sung a song with Indian Cricket Captain Virat Kohli an official anthem of Premier Futsal.
Rahman will be also singing for Ashutosh Govarikar's film Mohenjo Daro, his song from this film 'Tum Ho'. This film stars Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde.
Earlier, A.R Rahman was to give music to Aamir Khan's upcoming film ' Dangal', but after that he took his hand off the movies and it was because of Aamir Khan, Reason is that, Rahman and Prasoon Joshi have been making the music since 1 year and Aamir Khan don't even have time to sit and listen to the music. Prasoon Joshi also left the film.
A.R Rahman even gave music to a Hollywood film Pele : Birth Of A Legend, this film was based on the life of Brazilian Football legend Pele (Dico). A.R Rahamn even launched the trailer of this film.
