Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra the director who is known for his thought-provoking and interesting directorial ventures like 'Rang De Basanti', 'Delhi 6', 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Mirzya' is all set to come up with his another movie that will be based on the life of four kids from slums of Mumbai and will be called 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister'.
The director said that after doing a thorough recce in it the alleys of Mumbai slum, he is now all set to start the movie. He will be shooting the movie in some real location of Mumbai slum. He also added that this movie of his would be different from his previous movies. director who originally hails from Delhi has shown his love for the city through his work in past, but this time he said that the place where he has lived now for almost 30 years, The city of Dreams Mumbai, was something that he wishes to do around.
"I have seen the city changing from an ordinary city of dreams to a world city and still the life of people living in slums of the city hasn’t changed so I wanted to go on the path of ‘Salaam Bombay’, ‘Slumdog Millionare’ and other stories which have grown out of the slums of Mumbai," he said revealing about the project.
He also said that he doesn’t wish to pinpoint the miseries of the slum life but wish to show how they picture the world from their eyes.
