A teacher can be a mentor, a guide and in rare cases, even a friend as well. This quoted line is professedly aimed in the Rani Mukerji hysterical movie Hichki. It is a beautiful story of a hard-working teacher, she defers from the common notion of being a normal human being. Naina (Rani Mukerji) is diagnosed with a rare Tourette Syndrome but that didn't deteriorate her dreams and willpower to become a successful teacher.
Due to the neurological disease, she often makes hicks and clicks noises that she explains with vital spirit and wittiness. After several interviews and many rejections, she bags her dream job as a full-time teacher in an elite school. Where She fights the odds – Children reactions to her own in stoppage for a while, hiccup voices between the class speeches who remains charged to mock her at every turn.
These kids are a part of the right to education initiative by local government authority. The journey of Naina from taking the No-good student's as they are misbehaved, dreadful and mainly deficient to bring out the best in them, making them aware of their true potential to succeed.
The movie stands outstanding and flooded with praises and good reviews. Hichki is a critic acclaimed and Box office succession film. The film is poured with blissful words and Rani Mukerji deserves all applaud.
The film also got received a standing ovation in the Shanghai International Film Festival recently and the audience left the theatre with a positive approach and progressive mindset. Rani Mukerji Hichki is all set to wave the foreign land with its splendid performance. The film will be released in Russia on the occasion of teachers day 6th September(2018). It will be dubbed in the Russian Language by there renowned voice star.

The film is a Hindi remake of Brad Cohen's autobiography Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had. The film is Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and Produced by Manesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
